Description : All proceeds from this book go to charity. The most important component of God’s plan for humanity was the gift of His one and only son on the cross for the sins of the world. As Christians, the systematic approach we use to present this gift to the sinful world will determine the effectiveness of our role as followers of Jesus Christ. It is very easy to tell someone that Jesus died for the sins of the world but how do you bring them to that place where they can effectively see Jesus as a personal gift designed to save their soul? This book will help you understand God’s unique gift and bring you to that place where you can see the world through the eyes of Jesus Christ.

Description : The latest novel from Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison. An angry and self-loathing veteran of the Korean War, Frank Money finds himself back in racist America after enduring trauma on the front lines that left him with more than just physical scars. His home--and himself in it--may no longer be as he remembers it, but Frank is shocked out of his crippling apathy by the need to rescue his medically abused younger sister and take her back to the small Georgia town they come from, which he's hated all his life. As Frank revisits the memories from childhood and the war that leave him questioning his sense of self, he discovers a profound courage he thought he could never possess again. A deeply moving novel about an apparently defeated man finding his manhood--and his home. This eBook edition includes a Reading Group Guide.

Description : One common attribute we all share as humans is the fact that whenever there is an important future event, we always make necessary preparations in anticipation of an outcome from the event. We do this with childbirth, graduation from school, marriage, vacation, and death. But when it comes to the second visit of Jesus Christ leading to the End of the Age, we seem to care less about the need for some serious preparations. Before death, we will all come to a point in life when we subconsciously without notice start to briefly analyze our path; where we came from, where we are, and where we honestly think we are going after death. After this unprecedented brief moment, our next step is largely determined by the analysis obtained from the pause. That you accepted Jesus Christ as the son of God is not enough to save you from hell; you must repent and live by God’s law to enter His Paradise in Heaven. Anybody can believe in Jesus Christ; but not everybody can live for Jesus Christ. God made you for a specific unique supernatural divine purpose beyond your imaginable dreams. This book will guide you, restore you, energize you, and move you to that place where you seriously start to prepare to have your salvation completely sealed through him as you successfully live to please God through Jesus Christ. This book is a sequel to “Face to Face Meetings with Jesus Christ”.

Description : We all have questions regarding God’s paradise in heaven; as Christians, there is nothing more disappointing as spending all your life on earth convinced that you will go to Paradise when you die only to arrive there and hear Jesus say to you, “You are not saved; you are going to hell.” There are more than 6,000 spoken languages in the world but one thing that sets heaven apart from the earth is the fact that there is only one language in Heaven. A good knowledge of the Language of Heaven will prepare you to better understand the Holy Bible, the teachings of Jesus Christ, his parables, and the miracles he performed. This book will introduce you to the Language of Heaven, answer your questions about heaven, prepare you for the struggles of this world, and ultimately help to prepare you for Jesus Christ. When you read this book, you will know without any doubts if indeed you are truly saved and ready to enter God’s paradise in Heaven. This book is Volume One of “Face to Face Meetings with Jesus Christ” trilogy and a must-read for every soul. Felix Wantang has been meeting face-to-face with Jesus Christ since October 1991. Description : Children of God in the World is a textbook of theological anthropology structured in four parts. The first attempts to clarify the relationship between theology, philosophy and science in their respective approaches to anthropology, and establishes the fundamental principle of the text, stated in Vatican II's Gaudium et spes, n. '', "Christ manifests man to man". The second part provides a historical overview of the doctrine of grace: in Scripture (especially the teaching of the book of Genesis on humans 'made in the image of God', as well as Paul and John), among the Fathers (in particular the oriental doctrine of 'divinization' and Augustine), during the Middle Ages (especially Thomas Aquinas) and the Reformation period (centered particularly on Luther and the Council of Trent), right up to modern times. The third part of the text, the central one, provides a systematic understanding of Christian grace in terms of the God's life present in human believers by which they become children of God, disciples, friends and brothers of Christ, temples of the Holy Spirit. This section also provides a reflection on the theological virtues (faith, hope and charity), on the relationship between grace and human freedom, on the role of the Church and Christian apostolate in the communication of grace, and on the need humans have for divine grace. AftYer considering the relationship between the natural and the supernatural order, the fourth and last part deals with di erent philosophical aspects of the human condition, in the light of Christian faith: the union between body and soul, humans as free, historical, social, sexual and working beings. The last chapter concludes with a consideration of the human person, Christianity's greatest and most enduring contribution to human thought.

Description : Weasels in the workplace, colleagues in crisis, and bombastic bosses—we all know what it is like to have a “job from hell.” We also know that, despite our industriousness and integrity, many of us will someday have to choose between groceries, health care, and heating the apartment. The nuns who taught me in grade school said that all work, regardless of skills or status, was a ministry. By our helpfulness and kindness on the job, we contributed to the common good. Oh, to have those nuns in charge today! Our sense of social responsibility is eroding as the gap between the super-rich and everyone else grows, and as the rhetoric of leaders that is supposed to heal, deepen our humanity, and unite us is mean, shallow, and divisive. What are the spiritual to do in this material world, where social Darwinism and faith in God are joined at the hip? This book is about putting spirituality to work at work. It is about using spirituality to help us be in toxic places and not become toxic. It explores strategies for maintaining our humanity and moral compass, and it illuminates choices, prompts deep personal reflection, and chases demons from cubicles with humor.

Description : "Rumors had been whispered for more than a year. Outrages that had been accumulating all along took shape as evidence. A mother was knocked down the stairs by her cold-eyed daughter. Four damaged infants were born in one family. Daughters refused to get out of bed. Brides disappeared on their honeymoons. Two brothers shot each other on New Year's Day. Trips to Demby for VD shots common. And what went on at the Oven these days was not to be believed . . . The proof they had been collecting since the terrible discovery in the spring could not be denied: the one thing that connected all these catastrophes was in the Convent. And in the Convent were those women." In Paradise--her first novel since she was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature--Toni Morrison gives us a bravura performance. As the book begins deep in Oklahoma early one morning in 1976, nine men from Ruby (pop. 360), in defense of "the one all-black town worth the pain," assault the nearby Convent and the women in it. From the town's ancestral origins in 1890 to the fateful day of the assault, Paradise tells the story of a people ever mindful of the relationship between their spectacular history and a void "Out There . . . where random and organized evil erupted when and where it chose." Richly imagined and elegantly composed, Paradise weaves a powerful mystery.
