Description : 'The Red Book' is a primary text in Martinism, a philosophical movement started in 18th century France by Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin and based on Mystic Christian illuminist philosophy with theurgical integration added for good measure. The core belief of this religion is that mankind should return to its original and divine state. This was to be accomplished both by metaphysical knowledge and by Theurgical abilities, that is to say magical abilities which would put the user in touch with benevolent and divine powers.

Description : This collection of essays, documented by an international and interdisciplinary array of scholars, represents the first academically focused volume exploring the creative idiolect of Frank Zappa. Several of the authors are known for contributing significantly to areas such as popular music, cultural, and translation studies, with expertise and interests ranging from musicology to poetics. The publication presents the reader with an understanding of the ontological depth of Zappa's legacy by relating the artist and his texts to a range of cultural, social, technological and musicological factors, as encapsulated in the book's title - Frank Zappa and the And. Zappa's interface with religion, horror, death, movies, modernism, satire, freaks, technology, resistance, censorship and the avant-garde are brought together analytically for the first time, and approached non chronologically, something that strongly complies with the non linear perspective of time Zappa highlights in both his autobiography and recordings. The book employs a variety of analytical approaches, ranging from literary and performance theory, 'horrality' and musicology, to post modern and textually determined readings, and serves as a unique and invaluable guide to Zappa's legacy and creative force.

Description : From Rosemary's Baby (1968) to The Witch (2015), horror films use religious entities to both inspire and combat fear and to call into question or affirm the moral order. Churches provide sanctuary, clergy cast out evil, religious icons become weapons, holy ground becomes battleground--but all of these may be turned from their original purpose. This collection of new essays explores fifty years of genre horror in which manifestations of the sacred or profane play a material role. The contributors explore portrayals of the war between good and evil and their archetypes in such classics as The Omen (1976), The Exorcist (1973) and Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968), as well as in popular franchises like Hellraiser and Hellboy and cult films such as God Told Me To (1976), Thirst (2009) and Frailty (2001).

Description : Egyptian roots of Christianity, both historically and spiritually. This book reveals the Ancient Egyptian roots of Christianity, both historically and spiritually. This Expanded Version of the book consists of three parts to coincide with the terms of trinity. The first part demonstrates that the major biblical ancestors of the biblical Jesus are all Ancient Egyptian prominent characters. The second part demonstrates that the accounts of the “historical Jesus” are based entirely on the life and death of the Egyptian Pharaoh, Twt/Tut-Ankh-Amen. The third part demonstrates that the “Jesus of Faith” and the Christian tenets are all Egyptian in origin—such as the essence of the teachings/message, the creation of the universe and man (according to the Book of Genesis), as well as the religious holidays. The very thing that is now called the Christian religion was already in existence in Ancient Egypt, long before the adoption of the New Testament. The British Egyptologist, Sir E. A. Wallis Budge, wrote in his book, The Gods of the Egyptians [1969], The new religion (Christianity) which was preached there by St. Mark and his immediate followers, in all essentials so closely resembled that which was the outcome of the worship of Osiris, Isis, and Horus. The similarities, noted by Budge and everyone who has compared the Egyptian Osiris/Isis/ Horus allegory to the Gospel story, are striking. Both accounts are practically the same, e.g. the supernatural conception, the divine birth, the struggles against the enemy in the wilderness, and the resurrection from the dead to eternal life. The main difference between the “two versions”, is that the Gospel tale is considered historical and the Osiris/Isis/Horus cycle is an allegory. The spiritual message of the Ancient Egyptian Osiris/Isis/Horus allegory and the Christian revelation is exactly the same. The British scholar A.N. Wilson pointed out in his book, Jesus: The Jesus of History and the Christ of Faith are two separate beings, with very different stories. It is difficult enough to reconstruct the first, and in the attempt we are likely to do irreparable harm to the second. This book will demonstrate that the “Jesus of History”, the ”Jesus of Faith”, and the tenets of Christianity are all Ancient Egyptian. This will be done without causing any “irreparable harm” as per A.N. Wilson’s concern, for two main reasons: Firstly, the truth must be told. Secondly, explaining Christian tenets via their original Ancient Egyptian contexts will enhance the idealism of Christianity. This Expanded Version of the book consists of three parts to coincide with the terms of trinity—the Three that are Two that are One. The first part demonstrates that the major biblical ancestors of the biblical Jesus are all Ancient Egyptian prominent individuals. The second part demonstrates that the accounts of the “historical Jesus” are based entirely on the life and death of the Egyptian Pharaoh, Twt/Tut- Ankh-Amen. The third part demonstrates that the “Jesus of Faith” and the Christian tenets are all Egyptian in origin—such as the essence of the teachings/message, the creation of the universe and man (according to the Book of Genesis), as well as the religious holidays. There is an undeniable irony and a profound, deep, undeniable truth in Hosea’s prophetic saying, Out of Egypt have I called my Son. A deep irony indeed. Let us open our minds and review the available evidence. For the truth is a composite of different and complementary pieces of a puzzle. Let us put the pieces in the right location, time and order.

Description : The aura has been given many names over the centuries-chi'i, prana, karnaeem, and Illiaster. In fact, it has been documented for over 5,000 years. Astral lights alluded to by ancient Eastern Indians, Chinese and Jewish mystics are attributed to a universal energy permeating all matter. The aura was described in early esoteric writings and later in those of the Rosicrucians, Zen Buddhists, Christian mystics-even in the oral traditions of the American Indians. Now, Capturing the Aura brings the science, technology and metaphysics of auric investigation into a concise and readable book for the 21st century-a century that will see continuing integration of science and metaphysics into the MetaScience of the future.

Description : Weave a web of tarot magic, and celebrate the days and nights of power with the magic of tarot and ritual. Perfect for both solitary and group practitioners, Tarot for All Seasons is the only book that combines the ancient wisdom of the tarot with the solar and lunar celebrations of the pagan Wheel of the Year. Discover how to work with seasonal energies throughout the year to improve all areas of your life—relationships, health, finances, and career. The twelve original tarot layouts capture the spirit of the full moon Esbats, waxing and waning moons, and the eight solar Sabbats. Several three-card spreads are also included for further advice and clarification to help you hone your tarot reading skills. Sample readings offer a way to weave a story with the cards, showing how the cards relate to one another and how the same cards can describe diverse situations in various layouts. Ritual creates a sacred space between the worlds, an ideal environment for powerful and magical tarot readings. A list of corresponding scents, magical brews, and candles are included to help you design a personal tarot ritual. The special chapter "A Year and a Day" concludes your journey with suggestions for self-dedication to the magical study of tarot. The seventy-eight cards of the tarot form a unique system for divination, self-discovery, and magic. From the growing darkness of Samhain to the fertility and flowers of Beltane, weave a web of tarot magic as you celebrate the ever-changing world around you and within you. In the following excerpt, author Christine Jette describes the Lady of the Hunt spread. This spread is intended to be used near the time of the waxing moon. Lady of the Hunt In this spread, "project" means any creative endeavor or career/study plan. "Relationship" can be new love, coworkers, family, or friendships. You are the Lady of the Hunt and your question becomes your quest. If you have something specific in mind, ask your question while shuffling the cards. For example, "Tell me what I need to know about my new (love, work situation, etc.)." Breathe deeply and shuffle your tarot deck. When you are ready, lay the cards out in the shape of a waxing crescent moon. Position 1 - This begins your project or relationship: Your life experience, what you bring from the past into the new situation. What brought you to this moment? Position 2 - This shapes your project or relationship: Outside influences, significant events, other people that shape the situation. Position 3 - This is at the center of your project or relationship: The main theme, lesson, opportunity or challenge of the situation. The focus card; all other cards revolve around the center and it carries the most weight in the reading. Position 4 - What your project or relationship needs to succeed: The effort you will make, the "elbow grease" required for your goals and ambitions to be realized, the follow-up too your magical workings on the physical plane. Position 5 - The direction or path of your project or relationship: Where you are headed, the future outlook. Position 6 - Advice card: What is the best course of action to take with this new project or relationship? What do you need to know now? To complete the Maiden reading, you can meditate with the cards, write a journal entry, keep the cards on the altar until the next waxing moon, or simple close. Carry a card or two with you during the day to strengthen the connection between you and your Maiden Spirit's desire. Affirm your personal power to create your destiny: "I awaken to my own creative powers. This, or something better, is manifesting for me now, for the good of all, harming no one, according to free will. So must it be."

Description : The Sacred Secretion, also called 'Chrism', 'Christ Oil' and 'The Honey And Milk', is the title given to the body's natural spiritual rhythm. During the monthly cycle, when lunar energy empowers the starsign energy that clothed you at birth, the brain releases a brew of chemicals. The psychedelic concoction travels down the spine's 33 vertebrate before rising up again. The secretion's increases its vibrational potency throughout the process, changing in and out of form. Finally, after being preserved in an alkaline body, the secretion is released, enhancing the senses of the individual and raising their conscious awareness. This is the true meaning behind the original story of Jesus (a fairy tale of the 'Sun', not the 'Son) who, at 33, rose again and returned to higher realms of being. Therefore, the Sacred Secretion is a spiritual journey. 'The Science Of The Sacred Secretion' is a consise comprehension of the research and philosophies underpinning the Sacred Secretion, the power of the Pineal Gland and effects of our unique Biorhythms. Each chapter details the connection between the physiological, chemical and astronomical alchemy of the body, revealing the correlations between our physical selves and the cosmos ("As above, so below"). Chapter 1- Evolution: A History Of Magic. Chapter 2- Biorhythms: The Cycle Of Life. Chapter 3- Pineal Gland: The Pinecone, The Witch And The Cortex. Chapter 4- DMT: The Reality Thermostat. Chapter 5- Kundalini: Shamans And Dragons. Chapter 6- Jesus: An Ancient Fairy Tale. Chapter 7- The Sacred Secretion. Chapter 8- Preserving The Secretion. Chapter 9- My Preservation Diary.
